The Nixa Meeting Event Center is a spacious 10,000 sq. ft. facility housing a banquet/reception hall, an adjoining wedding chapel, and meeting rooms. Nixa MEC is located 1 block south of the intersection highway 160 & 14, then one-half block west on South Street.
The banquet/reception hall has seating capacity to comfortable seat 250-300 guests. The reception hall can be divided with a portable curtain to allow for a wedding and then transition to banquet seating for a reception. The banquet hall may be utilized for weddings, receptions, business meetings, family reunions, proms, conferences, anniversaries, birthday parties, church events, and a variety of other functions.
The New Beginnings Wedding Chapel has seating for 150 guests. Dressing rooms are provided for the bride and groom. Three additional rooms are available for baby and wedding showers and small business meetings. A non-denominational Christian minister is available to perform wedding ceremonies for couples that want to say “I Do” but do not have their own minister.
The banquet/reception hall has a catering kitchen. Equipment in the kitchen includes an ice machine, commercial refrigerator, freezer, warming oven, wash sink, coffee maker, and ice tea urn. This equipment is available at no extra charge. Guests may cater their food, potluck, or bring their own food. A number of caterers are nearby to accommodate your needs.
Corporate events, conferences, and business meetings may access a full audio visual system, sound system and wireless internet powered by Corpra Net.
Round 60” tables and chairs are provided. Sixty inch tables provide seating for 8 to 10 guests. Eight foot and six foot tables are available for the buffet and head table. Each 8’ table seats 4 and each 6’ table seats 3 at the bride and groom’s head table. Linens may be rented for the tables.
Various styles of candelabra are available for rent for the wedding ceremony. The sound system and audio visual equipment may be rented for a nominal fee during a scheduled event at the Nixa MEC.
